what i made with my freshly harvested Figs
It is that time of year again! I have been harvesting fresh figs and exploring Pinterest for cozy, fig-filled recipes! I never seem to know quite what I want to make with my harvest, but this time I decided to give fig muffins and fig cookies a try. Plus we got a new oven, so I was especially excited to get back to baking.
I ended the day taste-testing both recipes and they turned out delicious ! I even played around with creating a cozy charcuterie board featuring my fresh bakes.

I tweaked both recipes a tad bit which I mention in the video. Also when I baked the muffins the second time I added a 1/4th cup of sour cream because I wanted them to be more moist and I am so glad I did. It ended up tasting better than the first batch and very addicting lol. Huge game changer! If you have any recipe ideas for the figs I would love to know!
